Entertainment Journalism Course

Entertainment Journalism Course

Creggan Enterprises & Guildhall Press are running a Free Entertainment Journalism course for young people aged 18-25 at the Hive Studio @ Rath Mor.

Beginning Saturday 28 March 2015 (from 2.30pm-4.30pm) this 8 week course will cover a range of topics relevant to a modern journalist – from written basics to digital techniques (see details below).

The course will be delivered by experienced media professionals – including: Lee Henry (Web Editor for CultureNi.org); Garbhan Downey (Editor with Guildhall Press, the Hive and former BBC Journalist, Newspaper Editor and Radio Producer); Jim McCafferty (Photojournalist, former journalist and editor with the Derry Journal).

To qualify for the course we are asking prospective participants to complete the application form below as media and entertainment is important and that’s why many people like to spend time looking for entertainement in movies or games such as fab spins and others. Places are limited so early application is advised.

This course is funded by the City of Culture Legacy Fund, administered by Derry City Council and Arts Council NI.
